  1. Blood Pressure: Contains resveratrol,an antioxidant that help reduce BP and lower the risk of blood clots. Resveratrol reduces stroke risk by altering the molecular mechanisms in the blood vessels. It does so firstly by reducing susceptibility of blood vessel damage through decreased activity of angiotensin (a systemic hormone causing blood vessel constriction that would otherwise elevate blood pressure) and secondly, through increased production of the vasodilator substance, nitric oxide (a beneficial compound that causes relaxation of blood vessels).

Resveratrol is one of the powerful anti-oxidant, which has been found to play a protective role against cancers of colon and prostate, coronary heart disease (CHD), degenerative nerve disease, Alzheimer's disease and viral/ fungal infections.

    1. Natural Bleach: Grapes pulp can be used to tighten skin and to naturally bleach it.
    2. Sun Burns: Crush a small bowl of green grapes, and stir in 1 tsp. of pure honey. Wash your skin and apply the grape mixture while your skin is still damp. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse.
    3. Toner:Cut a grape in half and smooth it over your face and under your eyes. After 1 minute, rinse your face with cool water and pat it dry.
    4. Tighten Skin Mask:Mix 2 spoons of grapes pulp, one spoon of sour cream, one spoon of rice flour and one spoon of carrot juice and apply on face to tighten your skin pores and make your facial skin elastic and youthful.
    5. Anti Aging:Black grapes, 2 spoon of papaya pulp, 2 spoons of honey and some rose water makes for a very effective anti-aging and skin-brightening mask. Grape contains natural fruit acids and essential vitamins for skin renewal.
    6. Shiny Skin:Grapes juice mixed either with gram flour or cocoa powder makes for an amazing face pack for making your skin glowing and clear.
      You can make a face mask with cottage cheese and grapes juice for making your skin fresh and healthy.
      . Blend one spoon of orange juice and 2 spoons of yogurt and one to two spoon of grape juice and apply to your skin for getting glowing skin.
    7. Fair Complexion:Sprinkle a spoon of alum powder and spoon of salt over a bunch of green grapes. Keep them wrapped in a foil and bake them for 15 minutes. Thereafter, apply the juice of these baked grapes on your blemishes. Practice this home remedy regularly to lighten facial blemishes and make your complexion fair.

      Mash black grapes and blend with 2 spoons of multani mitti, rose water and lemon juice; apply on your face. Opt for oily skin.
      Grapes juice and multani mitti face pack is excellent for absorbing extra oil from your skin and making it shine-free.
      Grapes juice mixed with lemon juice and tea tree oil makes for an ideal facial toner suitable for oily skin.
    5. Face Mask for Dry Skin:Mix 2 spoons of grapes puree, one spoon of papaya pulp and one spoon of honey and apply on your skin and let this face mask dry completely. 15 minutes later, wash off with water.
    6. Pimples and Rashes Mask:Mix 1/4 spoon of wheat flour, a pinch of baking soda with mashed grapes to apply on your face for 20 minutes. Enjoy the home-facial effects of grape mask which cures pimples ,rashes and other skin ailments.

Buy exactly ripened berries; green grapes should have a slight yellowish hue; red types should be mostly pinkish-red, while purple and blue-black types should be deep and rich in color.
  4. Storing:Since the fruit tends to spoil early and ferment at room temperature, they should always be stored in the refrigerator. Loosely wrap washed grapes in a paper towel and place them in a zip pouch bag set at high relative humidity. This way, they will keep fresh in the refrigerator for several days.
  5. Serving:Just before eating, wash the whole bunch to remove any pesticide residues and dust by rinsing in cold-water for several minutes. Place then in fresh cold water and gently swish them around few times. Pat dry using a soft cloth. If you are not going to consume the whole bunch at one go, then separate it into small clusters using scissors. This way, you can keep the remaining fruit fresher by preventing the stem from drying out. Enjoy them as whole without any additions.
